We've pledged to do our part and help protect the environment. We are working to create a community garden that will help provide fresh fruits and vegetables to our neighbors, while teaching gardening skills and environmental awareness to our community participants through instructional workshops led by certified volunteers
The W.D. Mohammed Islamic Center of Greensboro, North Carolina was established in 2018 with a mission of helping serve the community and provide Muslims with a place to worship. We opened our doors with a goal of uniting communities and a pledge to support those in need.

Sister Sameerah (Thelma) Mustafah was truly a beautiful sister and a blessing to W.D. Mohammed Islamic Center. She was kind and loving to all the children at the masjid, always helpful and working in the pantry, and a fun sister to be around. Let us remember all the good works, kind words, and fun times we shared with her.It is encouraged to read the whole and or part of the Qur’an and donate the rewards to the deceased. And since Surah Ya-sin is considered the Heart of the Qur’an it is the most read in times of death and tragedy. Everyone read Sur’ah Ya-sin 36 on behalf of Sister Sameerah. How is this done?
